Went and bought me a quad 400. Any pointers on this xbow. Shot it this afternoon and really liked it. Just have to tweek it a little bit.

I love mine. Its a good reliable and accurate crossbow. I dont have any tips particular to the quad 400, but its a lot of fun.

Make sure you blue Locktite ALL the bolts before you worry about sighting it in. Scope rail, bases and all the other screws on it. They will work loose without locktite.

What Rubberduck said. Previous owner lost one of the bolts holding the foot stirrup on.
Also, check the rubber coated metal tab used to hold down the rear of the bolt. The rubber was torn on mine, so I took it off to redip it. Found that the original mounting holes were not drilled correctly, so the tab would not lay flat under the scope mount. A couple of minutes with a rat-tail filed fixed it. (Now I know why the previous owner sold it, he couldn't keep a scope zero on it.)

Don't worry about the Loc-Tite, just get you some duct tape....
