Took time out from making apple pies to catch a brown trout. If it is fromt he Caney, I hope you threw it back. Don't believe it is 18"

Do yall think theres any trout below normandy dam this time of year?
I wouldn't think so, the summer was so hot and so dry. I'm sure the water temps got high enough in those tailwaters that they couldn't survive.
