There are 3 adjacent parcels of land totalling 167 acres due west of the 725 acre plot at the end of Hayes Road. I know it is legal to hunt here but you can't get there unless you have a boat and the Wolf is safe enough to navigate. Is there any chance of getting official landowner permission to pass? Walking the tracks is probably illegal. There is a road that dead ends at the tracks but it is clearly marked as private.

Because of the nature of the river, the shapes of different tracts of land, and the process in which they are purchased- there are some tracts of land that don't have good access.

The manager for Wolf River WMA is over that area and would be better able to give you that specific information.

There are basically two ways to access this property. One is the parking area at the end of Hays road and the other is the river. Any other way would be trespassing unless you have permission from the private landowners.

TWRA told me the river is the only correct way as they would not suggest walking down the tracks. As there is no trail along the tracks bringing anything out will be unpleasant. We have been on the property and did see deer.
