I'm in bachelor mode for the next week, so decided to make a regular old Pepperoni Pizza. Made a dough, mixed up some pizza sauce with tomato paste, olive oil, garlic, oregano, basil and rosemary, and ran to the grocery and picked up some Boar's Head pepperoni and some mozzarella cheese. Fired up the grill to as hot as I could get it, put the pizza stone on the grates and fired the pizza for about 6 or 7 minutes. I was tempted to order a pizza out, but decided to save the money. Since I had everything in the house but the pepperoni and cheese, I only spent $8 and made two pizzas. but spent 20 dollars in gas running to town. looks good
Midtown Memphis: grocery store is 3 minutes away.

I have two cooking stones, I use them constantly on the grill or in the oven. Baking breads, cookies, etc. There is nothing like it.....................I would recommend a quality stone, worth the money. Say like Pampered Chef or similar vendor.

See, that's what happens when you use a cookie sheet instead of a pizza stone.
Poser....seriously dude...you should try a pizza stone instead of the cookie sheet.

Sounds close enough to pick up a Pizza Stone.

I tried something a little different this past weekend, the local grocery chain had pizza dough on sale(buy 1 get 1)they are pre measured to get 2 pies from one ball of dough.
I bought up a bunch, came home rolled out 6 pies and pre cooked the shells just enough for them to hold their form, used 2 that night, froze the other 4 for later use.
I made up the pies and placed the shells directly on the grill, no stone, "cookie sheet" LOL. They came out great, nice and crispy on the bottom, all piping hot on the top and melted.
