I am heading that way this weekend to stay at a cabin. Prob. canoe to Desoto Falls. Anyone do much fishing around that area?

Little river. Smallies, spots and rock bass down in the canyon. Typical small stream patterns work well. Wonder what the water levels are......

Not real sure. I need to check. I did find out that u can't buy a single day license and you had to buy a 7 day for $26. Seems steep but I know AL is a big fishing state.
