I have a single red dot scope on my crossbow that it came with two years ago. I have been thinking of switching, but don't want to pay a ton of money for something that might not fit a Barnett Wildcat. Thoughts and suggestions?

I switched to a multireticle and love it. Crossbows have no recoil so about any scope should hold zero.

I like my tenpoint 3 dot red dot scope. 20 30 and 40 yds.No need to shoot any further with a bow.

I'm with cecil30-30. I put a TenPoint 3 dot scope on both my crossbows and have loved them. Much better than the single dot scopes that I used to use.

Crossbows have reverse recoil. In theory a firearm scope could come apart on a crossbow. Don't know if it has ever happened though.

I use the Excalibur Lumizone. Plenty of people use rifle/shotgun scopes on their crossbow though.
