I'm wanting the same boat in the 16'. I think I would prefer a tiller motor over a console to maximize the space since I will have four people in it on occasion.
What would you give for that exact boat?

When I compare my G3 to a Grizzly tracker there is no comparison. The tracker is crap compared to the G3 as far as quality welds and workmanship go.

I have a 1754 Center console and love it. I have a 40hp four stroke which allows me to troll at idle and the motor burns very little fuel. I have loaded it with at least 1000 lbs of gear(cooler, cook gear, tents etc) heading out to islands to camp for a week and the boat handled it great !As previously mentioned....it will beat you to death on rough water, but is extremely stable....yes I have wished that I bought the next size larger...especially after I put downriggers on it but have been very satisfied so far.

they look nice, but don't look like they have space for much gear for the size.

My does great for me. In my opinion better laid out and more room than a tracker.

There are a lot better boats than the tracker for the same money. They are not terrible boats but the build quality is lacking. Lowe makes an excellent boat in the model you're looking for.

I run a 1648 Grizzly with a 40jet and the boat has hit everything you can imagine in the 8+ years I have had it. It has dents, scrapes, gouges, and not much paint in places, but it's never had a leak!

^^ I have experienced his boat rides first hand. Because of BUSHRAT the next boat I own will be a Grizzly.
