Do any of you have one or ever shot one? I'm thinking of getting one in .308. whats your opinion..thanks!

my brother said he shot one and like every thing about except the trigger
said it had too long a travel on it

First class rifle for the money. They are a bit heavy but all .308 AR style rifles are heavy. Factory triggers suck but that can be remedied with a RRA 2 stage for under $100. Every one I have seen and/or shot was very accurate. By that I mean moa or better with quality ammo.

I have one in the 243. Very accurate, and I haven't noticed a long trigger pull on mine.

I have DPMS 24 inch SS and I put a Jared 3 lb. trigger in mine and got it down to 36 oz. Love it!

As mentioned above, they are heavy. I have used a 308 for deer hunting the past 15 years, and the R-25 is nice... and did I say heavy? It's a beast compared to the tow Remington Model 7's that I've had.
