I have been a bow hunter for 16 years and just dont have the time to put as much practice in anymore. I am thinking of going to a crossbow, but this is a new world to me. What should i be looking for in a good used crossbow? Also, what should i avoid? Thanks in advanced for the imput.

You cannot go wrong with an excalibur. They are so easy to maintain. You can change the strings your self. If buying used, check the limbs for cracks.
