I have a field that is full of arrow head pecies,lots of chips & broken points.Always find a few nice ones but most are broke or odd shaped.Could this of been a camp?

Yes. You must be close to a good water source. That is the key.

Yes there is a good size spring that comes out of the ground about 100 yds away.

I live close to a spring, and I am always finding small pieces of flint and found just a few rough looking arrow heads. I figure that they sent the young inexpienced indians to my property to learn how to make arrow heads. The fields are never plowed, I just find stuff in bare spots and around the creek. I might actually find some nice points if it was ever plowed over.
