I think someone said Redblood got distracted with Rainbow week, so maybe next week we can get the details about his new squirrel gun.

it is a cz but not the ultra lux. they discounted it in 2011 and i foundone pretty cheap NIB. real light- 5.5 lbs with an adjustable trigger and a 22.5" barrel. has a schnabel fore-end

Barrel looks longer than that in the pic.
I'm sure that one is more accurate, but I'm considering setting up the CZ autoloader as my next squirrel gun. I like not having to work an action (extra movement and noise) as there is often more than one squirrel cutting, and can often quickly get two or three from a single tree if shooting the first doesn't too badly spook the others. In that regard, bet that extra-long barreled Ultra Lux would have a quieter bark when you pull the trigger.

Here's the autoloader. http://www.cz-usa.com/products/view/cz-512/
20.6" barrel and weighs 5.9 lbs. Wish they would offer it without sights and with a little longer barrel.
By contrast the Ultra Lux has a 28.5" barrel! I'd have an Ultra Lux if they made them in Left Hand. No problem in my shooting a right-handed autoloader on left shoulder, but it's a little awkward working the bolt with the wrong hand on a bolt gun.

i looked at it. nice looking gun. it is a different mold than most autoloaders as it has a two piecce stocks, like the brownings. they have the prettiest autoloading shotgun i have seen on their. around 450.00 bucks.

Ita CZ 452 style, the same as the silhouette but with a nickel finish, very nice piece of equipment.
Everything falls right into place when its shouldered, the cheek piece , the grip & forearm feel great, all you need is a good scope & have the trigger done & its be perfect.
Bang for the buck CZ makes some of the best shooters around,a fine chioce you've made.

I'm tell'n ya. the stocks on those guns are nice, sturdy & comfortable, I really like a wood stock but these aint shabby by any stretch.
Suppose a guy could get some checkering done on a synthetic stock ?? some on the grip & forearm would look great & add some extra to hold to, but considering its a synthetic stock its not slippery at all. (like some I've felt)
