think you could live 30 days in the woods with zero human contact with only a .22 rifle and ammo,a knife and a metal cup?
if you think you could do it tell us how and what you would do to accomplish this.

I actually give a scenario to my students in Wildlife Management very similar to this.

A week would be a rest, but a month and most of us would go off the deep end.

I'm sure I could LIVE for 30 days, I may not enjoy it, but I could live; provided that I could find a water source.
Build a shelter close to water, use the powder from the .22 shells for fire, and kill something every once in a while and you have it made.

could you make fire with a stick to ignite the powder and purify your water?

Open a few .22 shells and dump out the powder, then fire the empty shell into the powder igniting it with just the primer.
Use your cup to boil the water in, once you have a good fire

i practice alot of primitive skills. i'll say this , it's a lot harder to make primitivie fires than what it looks on tv or in a book. i have no problem started a flint and steel fire. i've been worked on bow drill fires and it's alot harder but i have done it. you just have to practice alot. but yea i have no doubt i could survive in those situations.

it would just blow your powder everywhere. the slight bit of pressure from the rimfire cartridge would be enough to scatter your powder you think?
