If you get the Burris, get the 42AO over the 40. It is well worth it. I've got both and regret the 40 after having the 42.

I found a nikon monarch 2.5x10x42 with bdc for 339 . Are the monarch worth it ? Or should look for something else. Thanks for the info.
Priced that same scope today for 389.....that is a good deal and th e Monarch is a really good scope.

Monarch's are as good a scope as anyother under $1000!

I have the same one and i have 369 in it.....339 is a good solid deal. Buy it!
