Richmanbarbeque,

Look at the strange spots on the buck's neck in your picture and then look at the similar spots on the buck's neck in my picture. That very well may be the same buck.

BSK,

I saw that IR picture in the QDM forum, and I was thinking that surely you did not give the Cuddeback No Flash another go. Noticed that there was no branding on the image so I figured it was from something else.

Awesome buck! Exciting. It would be awfully tempting to check that camera's card about every day except that you say it is a Buckeye. I assume that the base station is no where near your home (at least I think that is how that one works) which would be a good thing. I would waste too many hours in the middle of the night glued to the PC waiting for an image to pop up

WRF,

The Buckeye I'm using is the Aries model, which is a 3 MP standalone unit (no radio transmission). I'm very impressed. Without question the best commercial camera I've used. Trigger speed is basically instantaneous. In fact, I got a daylight picture of myself driving by VERY FAST on my ATV and the camera actually caught me dead center over the salt rock (which is what I have the camera focused on). I mean LIGHTNING FAST trigger.

hunter drew,

Their website lists the Aries at $1,050 and that comes with everything, including a really cool swivel mounting bracket, straps, long-life battery and battery charger. I think the battery will last several months.

If your interested, I would look around at resellers, as they may be able to beat the factory list price (at least several have told me they can).
