What is your opinion and/or experience in the success of the S5 String Shock Sound Suppression System, and the dissipator bar kit? Have you used them? Have them? The reason I ask, I shot my Axiom today and its pretty loud. I know I cant make it ask quite as a compound but Im just weighing some options. Thanks.

I have both the dissipator bar and the S5 on my Exomag. The dissipator bar was on my bow when I bought it and it was sort of loud but I noticed it quieted a little (though not as much as I had hoped for) when I installed the S5's. The thing I noticed more than the lower noise was the vibration reduction. I'm shooting around 330 fps (200# limbs) so I doubt seriously the deer will jump the string at those speeds although 50 yard shots may or may not prove me wrong. Therefore sound is not all that important to me on shorter shots. All in all $35 for the S5's is the real question. They dampen vibration more that sound so I justified the expense that way. I love my Exomag. It is a highly accurate tool for putting meat on my table. Afterall, I'm a carnivore. Hope this helps.

Installed the S5 system today. Took A LOT of the shock out. Well worth 30 bucks.

Glad they worked for you. My confidence level has dramatically increased since I got the Excalibur. I now have no excuses for missing a shot except human error. I just ordered some Rage tips so I'm ready for the season to start.
