My wife has been begging me to take her to Jerrys for 2-3 months now. She is a true sno cone junky, straight out of New Orleans. \:\)

Love Jerry's I knew the original owners they were the nicest folks. It's still good though. Gotta go with the supreme ice cream and sno cone!

You guys made me do it. I finally took the wife by there to get her a Sno Cone (Snoball in N'awlins lingo) on our way home from work. My wife had a pretty taxing day at work and I knew this would put a smile on her face. Yes indeed, she approved of their product, with a few minor suggestions. Few pics I snapped.

Typical loud paint job you see at most snoball stands

Only 40 people in front of us, mainly kids 10-20 years old. Jerry "The King" Lawler was in attendance as well (back right hand corner with sunglasses on). There were 5-10 more people behind us in line. Business is good.

Strawberry & Chocolate Supreme, pretty darn good

From the time we got out of the truck until we started on our snoball was about 20 minutes as Poser stated. I am not a snoball junkie like my wife, but I must say these were pretty flavorful and worth the wait. $7.40 for two large supreme (with ice cream in them) sno cones. Thanks to Poser and others here for making me take the plunge. \:\)

A Memphis classic. Go back and watch the movie "Great Balls of Fire", the movie about Jerry Lee Lewis starring Dennis Quaid. It was filmed in Memphis and a scene or 2 was done at Jerry's.

Haven't been there in years...anybody remember the Sno Cream Castle at Getwell and Willow Rd? I spent a lot of money at that place over the years. \:D \:D

Just an empty lot now.

For a reason. I should have been in sales. \:D On a serious note, I think 75% of the people there had swim wear on as if they had just left a pool party. Then you had the wife and I in our dress slacks looking like two worker bees, all the time sweat running down my back as we waited in the 95 degree heat. I was looking at most of the people in line thinking... "those were the days," worry free and not a care in the world. \:\)

I just got a new neon tie-die tank in the mail today that I bought off ebay. It and the zubaz pants should make for an awesome Sunday errands outfit.

Yea I used to ride my bike up to there all the time. But as good as they were, they are not as good as Jerry's. The building they were in burnt down about 2-3 years after they closed the doors.
