Saw a tom in full strut with 2 hens this past Thursday. Kinda surprised to see one strutting this long after season.

I have seen a video of toms in full strut in a winter flock with hens in December in middle tennessee. I guess they will do it any time.... I wonder if the one you saw was breeding any of the hens.

I am seeing the same thing, I have never seen this on my property this time of year but have gotten this guy on camera strutting for 2 weeks now. Sometimes with hens and sometimes not.

That gobbler is hanging those 3 hens near constantly. And best I can tell from alot of pics, those hens have no poults. There are some more hens running around with poults and the gobbler is never with them. So I am led to believe that their clutch has failed and he has or is going to breed them again. Logical assumption you think?

Yes, IF the hens are receptive. The reason I say that is hens are capable of retaining viable sperm for about two months (up to 56 days) after being bred.
