That looks fantastic.
I recently cut two pieces of old wood barn wood for the same purpose, now I just need to mount the euros.

My son mustered up the strength to endure the stench long enough to sever the head from the spinal vertebrae and I buried the skull with the antlers above ground, tied it to a tree with wire and left it alone till April. Dug it up, bleached it and mounted it on an old piece of barn wood from an old barn in the area where I hunt. We just finished it today.
