Im ready to put me another varmint gun together, thinking a bolt gun or possibly AR. Im wanting to have it dipped or maybe paint it. Ive seen some pretty cool Krylon camo jobs. Id really like to give that a try. For a bolt gun I want a tactical stock been looking on midway but hard to picture exactly what it will look like together. Let me see some pics and I welcome any input you may have.

For a bolt im looking towards a Rem 700 of course, for an AR I really dont know alot period. Ive looked at many from R15 to bushmaster to DPMS to sig. Rock River really caught my eye.

I do shoot an occasional yote but it will probably most time on the range. A Rem varmint or tactical model is kinda where Im looking. I really like the looks of the heavy barrel. Although I have heard good things about the TC bolt also. I looked around a but yday, seen a Savage 12 this thing must have been 5' long. It was the largest rifle in the case. I have also seen some AR's that different places are having sales on. I havent researched them much but Bushmaster in the $780 range and DPMS in the $550 range. This seems to be a rather decent price compared to others Ive seen. Which these must be bottom end models.

Winchester Model 70 Super Shadow in 243WSSM. Light weight and a great little shooter with the 55gr ballistic silvertips

Howa 1500 in 22-250

Then theres the one i never leave home without anymore. Remington R15 in 204 Ruger. Great shooter with the Hornady 32gr Vmax that will flat out put em down on the spot.
