We were fishing the other day and man caught a bullfrog.
Plenty big for eating too. \:D

We threw it in the bucket and I "dressed" it after we finished with the fish.
It was full of eggs by the way.

Anyway, I just whacked off the legs (left them joined at the hip) and then ran my fillet knife under the skin from hip to foot and then just kinda peeled the skin off in the same direction.
Then I cut the feet off and threw it in the bowl.

Is that pretty much the easiest way to do it?
I played heck with it trying to hold on to the skin while I pulled.
Started to get some pliers but I managed to get it done.

First one I have ever done and figure there is a "better" way.
Thought it might be useful if I ever get more than one at a time. \:D

I cut the legs off individually, make a small slit in the skin at the thigh and then pull the skin right off with pliers. Then I cut the foot off and its ready to fry.

I use the same skinner on frogs and catfish. You can get them at Bass Pro, Cabela's, Wal-Mart, bait shops...they're everywhere.

Sometimes we don't even cut off the legs. Just cut off the face, grip the skin and rip it down off the legs.

I make a slit, pull the skin off with pliers and then chop the legs off.
It doesn't have to be fun to be fun.

Wild & crazy, can't be stopped. Only the strong will survive.

Keep your knife sharp and your skillet greasy.

I skin them the same way as any legs... not much particular method to it other than pulling the skin off down the legs so it's inside out when you're done. Then cut off the feet of course. May need a knife to get the skin going at first.

use a newspaper to grip the skin , makes it much easier.
