Had 2 on the roost for 30 min gobbling at every sound this morning.

Lincoln County started off well enough. Lots of Toms, but each always had 2 to three Hens with them.
For the last week to 10 days, total silence, roosted or down.
Switched to midday hunting, spot and stalk. Coming up with a big ZERO.
Hens are on their beds, except for one that wouldn't get out of the road when I left. She was content to just walk down the middle of the road. Almost had to nudge her into the fields with my truck bumper!

Gobbling is still good in SPOTS in Middle TN... Been on gobbling birds all but 4 or 5 days this season...getting quiet 30 - 40 min after flydown most days, figure there getting henned up good now..

They hammer hard again, starting at 5:30, heard ten birds on roast and last gobble was about 945.
