one thing i have really learned on turkey hunting is calling a bird BACK to a spot he was already at is a VERY VERY difficult thing to do.
Exactly my experience as well.

you boys just need to learn how to seal the deal hahahahah J/K
No doubt! I think I need a 125 yard turkey gun to consistently make that happen! 
according to some that is not far off some setups reported on here hahahah

my turkey gun will go 125 yards. Patterns nicely in a 125" circle.

I would have been more than happy with a 70yd gun yesterday morning.
Working birds and really even getting on one has been tough this spring.... one day they gobble good on the roost, the next, you can't get them to gobble for anything.

If one of us had a 70 yard gun we would have pics posted of an absolute STUD! I hope you slam him this weekend.
