I believe I have a hunting partner in my son. He turned down the chance to spend the night with Grandma to get up at 4:00 AM to go hunting with me. Don't know who is more excited him or me!

Sat in the woods this morning, totally silent birds. Heard something to my right, looked over and my son is curled up with his shotgun sound asleep...wouldn't have been so bad except that we both have colds right now so his snoring was as good as a warning beacon...He did get to see flydown. Still not a bad morning.
