got area 3 for the first time anyone have info on a good spot I have a 3 hour drive up only gonna be able to hunt Saturday so any advice would be greatly appreciated . i'm not looking for someones honey hole just a general idea

I hunted area 3 last season a couple times.. Stay all day u will see deer trails everywhere...

Go north on McNair road on the east side as you go down toward the creek bottom, go on the firebreak on your left. It's red clay looking. Go up the ridge and you can see the whole ridge and the bottoms!

I appreciate the info guys...trying to talk the wife into letting me close the weekend out at the fort, with all these great areas open I hate to miss out on it.

Here's my buck taken out of 14a this morning. He's an 8 pt with broke g3. Needless to say but I thought he was bigger. According to his teeth he's 4.5 yrs old and he weighed a whopping 106 lbs! I guess he lost a lot of weight rutting. I saw about 12 does and yearlings with four bucks this morning.

Nice deer@fulldraw!! Nothing wrong with shooting a 4.5 yo.
Hunted 44B this morning. Didn't see a thing. Cut out before the rain. Will be in 28 tomorrow. Hope to get a doe or two to close out the season.
