Great year so far. We've all been blessed with a bird but the most rewarding has been my hunting buddy Jeremy's daughter Carley's killing her first bird, double-beard 28 lb. monster. And get this, she killed it with a 835, shooting a 3 1/2" shell! Then wanted to shoot another when it attacked her dead bird! Great memories. It's been a great year so far. We've all been blessed with good birds, but the most rewarding was seeing my hunting buddy Jeremy's daughter Carley, kill her first bird, a double bearded 28lb. monster! And get this guy's she's 55 lbs soak and wet and killed it with a 835 with a 3 1/2" shell. Then wanted to shoot another when it came in and attacked her bird while it was down! Great memories.

This was a good bird, it had a 11" beard and 25 lb. didn't measure the spurs but looked about a 1". Nothing like Carley's
