I'm on about 3 hrs sleep HOWEVER I have researched the &^%$ out of the surgeon our current surgeon has suggested for the Endoscopic third ventriculostomy if we have to do it..

For the moment, following hours of research on the % of success of this surgery specifically for TBI related Hydrocephalus - it looks very promissing.. Also, the 2 surgeons at Vandy I researched as being the Top Gun for this (one of which turns out to be the one our current surgeon suggested) are both surgeons who have successful careers that included 10+ yrs at Johns Hopkins Hospital which made me feel better too.. Dont get me wrong - we dont want this surgery but, what I see is pointing in the direction of it having to happen so again I will be spending a lot of time considering who and why so to be a little ahead of the game.

Man Kimber i have no idea how you are dealing with this. I would be a basket case. Your an incredibly strong man and i have prayed for yawl the last 5 nights and will continue to do so. Good luck brother.

I walked out the door - 5 minute drive to work and 10 minutes needed to compose myself before re-entering... It's honestly been a 4 yr roller coaster to he11 and back and the only way we'll keep it together is thru prayer - ultimately thru God ...

Scott, Getting on bended knees this morning. My family & I continue to pray for ya'll daily, often many times throughout the day. My Church family & other friends are praying for ya'll as well. If there is anything we can do, please do not hesitate to let us know. Lean on your friends, we want to help in any way we can.

I have been and will continue to pray....hurting for you guys right now. Brings tears to my eyes to know what Matthew is going through. Don't really know what to say other than we love you guys in the Lord and are here for you!

Every time I read one of your post my heart breaks with pain for Matthew and your entire family. My prayer is for Matthew to be filled with Devine Peace and Tranquility. I can not imagine the fear, pain and unknowing you all must feel. I hate to hear stories like this because we can’t help but to ask… “WHY”. My prayers continue for you and your family, may God bless you all…
