Wanted to shoot a pistol one day but alas....no ear protection.
Rooting around in my pockets I found some plastic wrap from my earlier snack.
crinkled up and smusshed together a set of earplugs.... volia! Worked really good.
Just be sure you get all the brownie crumbs out of them first!

I was surprised at how well the plastic wrap worked. AS good or better than foam earplugs.
