you said that not a lick of sense !! especially some of the members of the twra !! they want to do what they want, thats why we need more members of the insurance company on the board !!

it is public land ,for hunters its great to stop the atvs but for the other ppl paying taxes its not so cut and dry.

rough country, i agree theres no excuse for screwing things up. we all see it. a few bad ppl messes it up for every one.i mostly was just saying every one pays taxes on it .so every one hunters and non hunters"atv riders" should Get to use it , AS LONG AS THEY ACT RIGHT !

To my understanding CATOOSA WMA is paid by TN Hunting & Fishing license only, not everyones taxes !!

It isn't "public land" It's Wildlife Management Area, which requires a Wildlife Management Area permit to enter, and any and all posted regulations to be followed. If the free hunting guide or a sign there says "No ATVs" then it's the same as "No Loitering" or "Do Not Pass."
And everyone's paid taxes at some point in their life - I think it's B.S. that I can't drive between 11pm and 6am even though I've given right near $800 to the gov't in income tax alone, but I don't do it, because it's against the law. Same with taking my ZJ on the trails in Cheatham or Yanahli: It's illegal. Paying taxes isn't an excuse to break the law.
