I know you can buy a black powder rifle online and not have it shipped to a FFL as long as its barrels cant be interchanged but what about black powder handguns like revolvers and handgun muzzleloaders?

They are the same as black powder rifle. As long as a barrel can't be changed to something else, you can buy and they will ship.

I was lookin at buyin a cva buckhorn from cabelas and Ive always had a interest in their black powder handguns.

If you end up buying a BP pistol try making paper cartridges out of rolling papers...its fun trying to make them just right.

before you buy check out gunbroker, you might find something there and save a few bucks.
I hadn't ever thought about making cartridges out of rolling papers. I'll have to give it a try. Anything special I need to know.

I've tried it, but old habits die hard.....I kept rolling up big fat ones that wouldn't fit....lol, I was in college too long!
