Seen them in Humphreys, Rhea, Rutherford, & Dekalb counties. Killed the one in Humphreys and put it in my bonus room. The rest have walked on by. Pretty dang cool creatures.

I killed one and got it mounted about 15 years ago but, have seen several more and just enjoyed seeing them. Mostly here in Clay but, saw 2 in Monroe County,Ky.

I have seen 20 are so here in Smith County. There seems to be more now that hardly anyone traps and very few coon hunt.

Had one sneak up on me when I was coyote hunting. Kind of startled me tell the truth. I have seen them all over and never shot one, I think of them as predators like us, fellow hunters. Not at all like coyotes. Saw a huge one that had black stripes, torn ears.
