several. My property in Butler Co. KY I have seen 4 in as many years. Killed one there with a bow late season a few years ago.
Saw one in GA one during college while deer hunting and didn't know the seasons so didn't shoot. One of the coolest things I've ever seen was a baby one eatting a bird close to a stand I was hunting in Hardeman Co. when I was really young.

This past season saw one during muzzleloader, then 5 does came out and followed the same path across the field and back into the woods.

I've seen about seven in Madison county but it has been about three years since the last sighting. I saw one stalking my quail in a bean field while I was bush hogging. Two quail took off and then it crossed in front of me. Another time my hound took off into the bean field and there was a terrible ruckus. Two cats shot out and stopped in front of me. I had a chance to dump the snake shot from my .357 and drop a speed load of 158 gr , but I missed. Found the hound later shaking under my truck. Another time on a walk my dogs treed one but I didn't have a gun with me. Shot one with Marlin in .357 late while deer hunting. Couple of other times seen them running through the woods with the dogs way behind.

I have never seen a bobcat while hunting but think it would be very cool to see one. Only bobcat I have ever seen was when one ran across the road in front of my car when driving home from work one night about 11:30 pm in Hawkins county.

I have killed 14 or 15 in the last 20 years. If I see one and its season I kill it. IMO a bobcat will kill more turkeys amd fawns in its life than a coyote will dream about killin. They ought to be put on the varmint list.
