A dozen or more over the years! I have saw them in TN, KY, IL off the top of my head! Saw a mother with 3 lil ones in IL, and watched one catch a squirrel as well, very cool! I killed one many years ago here in TN and have just watched all the rest since then, very neat animals! My Son and a buddy have been trapping this winter and they also caught a big one a few weeks back!

I have never seen one hunting. The only one I have ever seen was swimming across Horse Creek on Dale Hollow Lake last May.

When I was a law school clerk in the summer of 1978 at age 23 there was a 33 year old COUGAR that caught my eye. Blonde, very little mane, gorgeous to look at and no comment on how it looked in a full body "mount". If memory serves, we both were winners. I don't know who got more out of the deal but it was epic while it lasted.

The first year I deer hunted, I landed an amazing honey hole (wish I had understood it better at the time, , anyway, I saw 9 bobcats that year, killed one, and drew the bow on two more, but never shot.
They are amazing creatures to watch.
This is a picture of the largest I ever saw. It was also in that first year of hunting. If this one would ever have been in bow range, I would have donated a carbon shaft to it's RIP.
