Anyone have experience with the Ameristep 16' Covert ladder stand sold at Wal-Mart? Selling for $79.

Ameristep does not list this on their website, I can find no reviews, or even any mention of this model.

Like to hear pros and cons before buying.

I've got 2,and they work pretty well..Not much I can say about them other than its a ladder stand it serves it's purpose..My 2 have been in the same spot for the past 3 years year round, and are still in good shape.

Thanks

I got 2 of them myself. I don't like the ladder, but for the price I'll deal with it. Pretty comfy once I add an extra pad to sit on.

I put it together.
Very sturdy and quiet. 48lbs.
16' is high enough for me.
Plenty of seat and foot room.

Only criticism is that the seat cushion is not very thick and the shooting arm could be a longer (hard to squeeze under when it is lowered) and angled up just a little more, neither is a big deal.

I have one and I like it a lot except for the skinny ladder.
