Our lease is in Franklin county but I hunt some Marion as well. A few good bucks were taken off our lease this past weekend and their glands were stinky black, but none of them were chasing. I think they are just starting to move around, but not chasing. Mostly rubbing and scraping. We still got a little time before they start chasing. Mid December is about when it starts getting good I've noticed. I think January gets even better. Many times I've seen big bucks dogging does on the last day of the season.

I agree. I have felt this way about the rut for awhile now. I have taken my last three bucks during the months of December. I have witnessed mature bucks chasing does during Jan. after the season had ended. Its sounds crazy, but those deer dont wear watches and they don't have calendars. If the does cycle changes then they all change.

Have been seeing alot of does in groups and a few smaller bucks. I think in the next week or two the does should be coming in again.
