I haven't put my bow down yet. My biggest deer to date was taken on opening day of ml, and I'm taking it out tomorrow. I'm addicted to it... Well that plus I hunt in small woods in the thickest stuff I can find, so my shots are never more than 30 yds.

I just started bow hunting last year. Have two nice deer on wall, one with rifle, one with smokepole. Have made up my mind to stick with bow this year to kill my first buck with bow. A friend told me that since i am now a bowhunter that it was against the code to shoot one with a bow. Not sure about that but right now I am waiting.

I'm still at it! Went out today and had 3 bucks walk through, a spike, 4 pointer, and the one I wanted a HEAVY 6 pointer who just wouldn't stop for nothing!! Guess he had a hot early date this morning and was running late,,, I'll relocate my location tomorrow and hopefully take him down,, and his little doe!!!!

all i do is bowhunt. after the pain of having the first big buck walk by out of range during gun season went away, it doesn't hurt to keep the bow in hand anymore. had several shooters since then walk by but the thrill of bowhunting keeps the guns in the safe.

Still at it here. Trying to get my first buck ever with my bow. It's just much more appealing to hunt with a bow than a gun to me. I would have much more of a feeling of satisfaction if i did it with my bow. Plus I dont need that much meat so I cant really just start layin em down with my bow either since my chances are slimmer.
