I was recently given a scent smoker as a birthday gift and wanted to ask if any one has ever used one of these things?
I have read several posts on different websites and hunting forums both for and against this product but wanted to know if any one on TNDeeer has ever used it.
Any feedback would be great. I know that I won't be using it during the opening weekend of muzzle loader as I don't want to introduce anything new into my hunting plan at the last minute.
Maybe late season - if I feel I am getting busted too often.

well just like you said....I'd rather spend my time doing all I can to reduce scent than to add new odors....

While the smell of smoke likely does not spook deer, the whitetail nose can still easily detect human scent that has been "masked" by smoke. It may be better for your clothes to small like smoke than smell like detergent, though.
