I have taken on a task to help a young hunter bag a deer on probably his last hunt with his Dad. His Dad has terminal Cancer and said his wish is to see his son shoot a deer during the Juvenile Season. Dad is in a wheelchair and on morphine so it has to be an evening hunt. I've set up a ground blind where we can drive right to it in a clover/bermuda/fescue field. It is on the edge of a 7 year old clear cut. There are a few does that eat there every evening. What would y'all suggest to ensure those and maybe some more will for sure show up?

I wouldn't worry. Seems hunts like these are meant to happen the way u want em to. Awesome thing u doing!!

I would do like FH said and the man above I believe will ensure this to happen. I also think u are doing a GREAT thing for this family. If the little don't kill he will still always look back and love the memories from this hunt. Good luck and I hope the little one kills a MONSTER.

Just has to be gone 10 days before the hunt. Doesn't say it can't be in the woods at all. Might also try a salt block with molasses poured on it.
