here's what i do with an empty thermacell bottle
1. i take a empty thermacell fuel cell and cut the end off that has the brass valve in to end of it.and your done with that end. 2. now turn the bottle over to the end that has the flat end and take a sharp knife and cut a half moon in the flat end. 3. then take and get a rubber or non laytex glove and cut the palm of the glove out.and then strech it over the opening where you cut the half moon shape in the end.and then take a rubber band and wrap it around the end of the bottle and make sure you got about a 1/4 inch gap between the plastic and the rubber glove.and then tune to your own satisfaction.and then you are done you should be able to call in a turkey with it.

Never used a thermacell but I love how you can make a tube call from so many different items that would otherwise go in the trash. I like to use bamboo cane to make most of mine though cause they look nice.
Oh and I have not had luck using non-latex gloves. It's more squeaky and less turkey without the natural latex. If you have a latex allergy, I'm sure there is some kind of material you could use that would get the job done.
One more thing - a double reed call is even better. Just like a mouth call, add another reed, cut a notch or two in it for a raspy sound, and be sure to tune it well.
