Was just wandering what is the best way to carry a crossbow on an atv without damageing it.Any advice or ideas would be appreciated.Thanks and god bless.

I've got those Kolpin claw looking things that mount behind the rear rack. They carry my climbing stand and my crossbow safely.

I use the rubber covered rifle holders with rubber tie over straps on the front. That way you can keep a eye on both ends of the bow. An extra bungee also is not a bad idea.You don't want to travel too fast to near your hunt location anyway. An extra bungee also might be used.

I leave mine in the hard case and strap it down on my rear rack.

I use my gun racks and a extra strap across it to keep from moveing around.

Thanks I bought some of the coleman gun racks yesterday and mounted them on the old honda.Going to try them out real good this weekend at Prentice Cooper.Thanks to all.

I carried mine across my back. I just loosened the sling up a little and never had a problem with it.

I carried mine across my back. I just loosened the sling up a little and never had a problem with it. My Barnett wildcat dosen't have sling swivles.Thats the only gripe I have aganist it.If I could mount a sling on it would probally carry it across back.

I have a 3 Wheeler & built a wooden mount with notch cut in each end that fits my CB stock
