Or blind. I was reading Brock Ray's online magazine http://www.isoutdoors.com/media/0811. Reading the what's new column I saw a link for Smithworks new hunting blinds. The link is wrong but i found it through a google search. Go to http://www.smithworksoutdoors.com and then click on the customer service tab at the bottom of the page. Their are some good plans for a 4x4 and 4x6 elevated platforms. You could add a top and some sides and have a nice blind. They recommend anchoring it to a tree which sounds like the only way to do it.

I checked the prices at Lowes.com It will cost about $200 to build one. That was using all treated wood. My plan is to build one with 3' tall sides so I can bow hunt from it and take my boys with me. They are 4.5 and 6. They both climb trees like a squirrel so I'm sure they can climb that ladder.
