Me and the wife are going to spend the day in Gatlinburg/pigeon forge for our 5 year anniversary.. what are the best sights to see?we can only spend the day so not alot of time...any help would be appreciated...

One day???Hmmmm,chair lift is cool,Cades Cove is nice,Dolly Wood,but thats more than a day.

One day in Gat is 23 hrs too long. Best bet would be to drive through it and say you've been there and head to cades cove or maybe even townsend.

Anniversary.....supper at the Peddler. Cades Cove is a must. I would stop at The Smokey Mountain Knife Works before you get into Seveirville.

Enjoy the NP, leave the fleshy Oklahomians at D-Wood, bypass all of the go-cart,mini-golf,hajji gift shops,car shows in parking lots and bear dung on display.
Hike to either Charlies Bunion, Albright Grove, or go see some waterfalls. Pack a picnic and have lunch at Cades Cove.
but you asked my opinion and I cannot stand to be shoulder to shoulder with other people. Unless there's a mosh pit nearby.
