How many used to have a CB radio in your vehicle?

I had a portable one in my car when I commuted to college in the 80s. It was a great form of communication.
I sometimes still wish I had one when traveling.
"How 'bout you east-bound Roadway?"
"How's it looking back the other way?"

I still carry one if I'm doing a long highway haul. It's good to be able to communicate with the truckers at times.
and you DO get to hear the most colorful stories...

had one during my college years, 91-96. far better than any radar detector.

I used to sit in my dads car when I was in middle school in the late 70's and talk on the CB for hours. My buddies would do the same. Those were good times

Had a CB in the late 70's/early 80's and then got a ham radio in the late 80's/early 90's.

I had one
after reading this I'm thinking I still got it.
Wonder where I could install it in the Avalanche
always liked listening and you know what caused a traffic jam before you get there and knew what lane to already be in.
