Alright everyone. Already been bitten by the bug and went through all my stuff twice. Here's the thing. I have an Old Man treestand that weighs 32 pounds. I want to find a small, lightweight stand that will be good for use on Ft. Campbell, Priest WMA, Yanhali WMA, etc where I plan on being everyday that I'm not teaching. I was told to look at the Lone Wolf stands, but I'll be danged that I cant find a store that sells them. Any ideas?

Summitt Goliath or Viper. Goliath is great combination of lightweight, yet plenty of room. If you are doing long sits, I highly recommend the footrest. Also, has to be the fastest, quietest climber to put on the tree.

I dont think I could ever justify shelling out the $$$$ for a Lone Wolf. I must of missed where it says it has a heated seat or something. Summit used to make the Open Shot open front climber that was fairly lightweight I think.

Heated seat? The ones I've seen hardly have a seat at all. Just a left cheek holder...But they only weight 14 lbs...

I want to find a small, lightweight stand . . . . . . Any ideas? OK, I'll tell you what I did.
I bought a Summit OpenShot . . . . . . weighs 15 lbs. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Hunting/H...%3Bcat104650380
I bought a Summit Viper, . . . . . . . weighs 20 lbs. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Hunting/H...%3Bcat104650380
I coupled the OpenShot bottom (a little shorter & lighter than the Viper's) with the Viper's top (fully encloses you with it's rail).
End result:
The "modified" Viper with the OpenShot bottom weighs about 19 lbs. The "modified" OpenShot with the Viper bottom weighs about 16 lbs.
If you end up only wanting one, you can sell the other "mixed" combo for about what you have in it.
