Or, just go to one of the outlying Moose Lodges and pitch some shoes.
Give me a pm and I'll take you to our Moose Lodge.....Great fishing lake in front, so bring your pole and some bait.
The best jukebox in town, $2.00 beer and reasonable drink prices...Food served Tuesdays and Fridays.
Horseshoes outside with pool tables and cornhole (toss game)in the rear...lol.
We are sort of particular, though, about who we let hang out there....
Be a jerk, cause trouble and we tend to make sure your key card stops working...
Most all are welcome and appreciated.

Gus's rules!
You might check out the Peabody Hotel and enjoy its nightlife.
Beale Street WILL be crowded. Avoid it.

Come on down to Mason, a short drive down Hwy 70, North, I believe, where the original Gus's is along with BOZO's BBQ right across the road.....a tradition since I was a kid...lol and before.

Been there, the chicken was outstanding. Best with a quart of Busch in a paper sack to wash it down.
Are those downtown trolleys safe to ride at night?

The Trolley's are fine. That whole area is heavily patrolled by the MPD.
As far as parking downtown, I have taken to using the parking complex "Parking is Fun." it is cheap and right on Union ave. You can find free parking, especially down in the South Main district, but this will often put you in isolated areas, where, if you are going to find trouble, parking on dark side streets is it. Of course, you need to keep your awareness up in any parking garage as well.
