Although education is important, there are many factors that go into choosing a good place to live. And many of those places are NOT ideal places to end up!

CMCSS per student: $8743
TN statewide average per student: $8773
National average per student: $10586
Like I said I don't have any big complaints. My elementary kids only had about 20 kids in it. Just because we may not spend as much, maybe we get more for our buck.
I think it's junk statistics in the article, junk facts and possibly they may even have been talking about a different Clarksville.

Edit: I meant to type that my kids only have about 20 other students in their individual classrooms at their elementary school.

If you read that close it was a May 2008, news spot, I remember I well, I was actually the President of the Clarksville Association of Realtors in 2007. That group got slammed after they wrote it, was a bunch of trash talking, think they even printed some type of correction.

I guess the list is in regard to dollars spent on edumahcation of chillrens and Clarksville is least dollars spent on their list.
I have to wonder how their sampling was done.
Apparently they went door to door and you answered.

Dont think the retraction came for a little while, County MAYOR and City Mayor both jumped there [censored], it came out the the person who wrote the story NEVER came to clarksville at all.
