Maybe so! \:D

I'll tell you what, the mexican place on 45 in Greenfield has (or at least last time I was there) the BIGGEST plates of food I've ever seen!

I go through Memphis several times a year, but have never lived there. Maybe there are some simularities I'm missing?

I'm quite fond of real Mexican food. \:\)

I made the connection after living in Memphis and visiting Houston. As well as agreement between me, myBIL who has lived there over thirty years, and one of my employees who moved here from there. Many similarities in demographics, attitudes, crime rate, etc. The vibe of Houston is similar to the vibe of Memphis. Not the sme, but similar.

Oh, ok. I don't spend much time in Memphis, just pass through usually.

I was thinking that the recession had affected Memphis like it seems to have west and middle TN. Houston doesn't seem to have missed a beat, but I think NASA closing will hurt at least the suburbs.

Is the majority of Memphis hispanic now? I guess if the economies holding up I can see how people will follow the jobs.
