that's one of the diseases that the blood bank asks if you had been dianosed(sp?) with before they will accept your donation.

Babeiosis like ehrlichiosis is spreading rapidly as people move from infected areas and bring their pets with them. The pets are often carrying infected ticks. Babesiosis however has been transmitted to people through infected blood during tansfusions.
