The stated meeting for this month will be held Thursday, July 14, 2011. We will gather at the Old Country Store, located in The Casey Jones Village, Jackson, TN. Our room will be available at 5:00 P.M. for those who wish to share a meal and fellowship, the meeting starts promptly at 7:00 P.M.
This month's featured Speaker is State Representative Jimmy Eldridge. He will give a review of the current Legislative session , with a Q/A session to follow.
Membership is not a requirement to attend, all are welcome.

if he will talk about term limits and not spending money just to get votes then it just might be worth attending, if that is not the case then no use in wasting time

Looks like Representative Eldridge is in for some tough questions after reading what TFA leader said about the current session.
"John Harris, executive director of the Tennessee Firearms Association, painted Republicans as ingrates and accused them of treating gun proponents as “the unwanted stepchildren” of Tennessee politics.
Harris denounced some Republicans as “spineless.” Likening the legislature to a garden badly in need of weeding, he suggested supporters should recruit challengers for these lawmakers in the 2012 elections. Harris made his remarks in a posting on his organization’s website."

Each meeting has a question/answer session, the topics are those chosen by the attendees. My thought is that it is better to show up and help drive the agenda.
