I bought some Kemp's Frozen Yogurt Parfaits at the store for the first time last week. They are individual-sized cardboard containers. I went to open one and the cardboard lid came off effortlessly and there was no inner lining. So, basically, there was no tamper-proof device.

It kinda gave me the creeps. All of the ones I bought were like that.

Would you eat it? I mean, someone could tamper with it like with the Tylenol decades ago or someone could have dropped it, the lid could have flew off and it could have landed upside down.

I'm a germophobe by nature so I have to ask "normal" people what they would do.

Logically? No. Buy more.

The little man in my head's thoughts? Eat it.

But my little man is an idiot.

I would return them. It is most likely an issue with the machine that seals the packaging but if it makes you nervous, take it back or contact the mfg. and see if this is normal.

I did e-mail Kemp's. I'll see what they have to say. They looked pretty delicious, too.

But I got some Dove milk chocolate with peanut butter to satisfy me for the time being. Man, that's the best candy.
