at least I am 90% sure that is what it was. a few years ago I know 100% I saw one dead almost in the same spot. Today I just caught enough of a glimpse so say it was one. I passed a car and saw it as I was going by them. It looked to be about 35lbs. between the peytonsville rd exit and 65 going west. but 10% of me wonders if it could have maybe been a black yote laying there and my mind just playin tricks...LOL

There are some ferals roaming southern Rutherford County so I'm sure there are some in Williamson.

Might have been a 1-yr old bear.

Joey, I seen one at 65 and the 840 loop dead. Positive it was a hog I slowed to a near stop. Can't remember if it was last year or the year before.

Did it look like a normal feral or perhaps a pot-bellied pig? I've seen a pot-bellied pig out on Natchez Trace several years ago - likely where someone let it go.

If it was wearing a red t-shirt it was definitely a bear. A hat and tie, absolutely a bear. Although he should have avoided a moving car due to being smarter than the average bear.

Saw a big one on 96 right outside of Triune. covered in black hair, but couldn't tell if it was feral born.
